Cyndi Bird cherishes her island life in the North Pacific. Nestled on the misty islands of Haida Gwaii she dwells on a small farm, with her husband where she attempts to grow her own food.
With a serious love for the wild she often finds herself foraging for strange new things to snack on. Her love of snacking on wild goodies is shared by her two horses Punkin and Tonka. They can often been seen on outings with Cyndi in the small village she lives in cruising the town for the best grass and road side berries.
Medical office assistant by day and wordsmith by night she writes both fiction and non-fiction. She finds her inspiration in the foggy landscapes of the lush green islands while adventuring with her two horses.
If you visit the Island Life In The North Pacific page you will find stories about her life on Haida Gwaii. From tales of wet gardening woes to adventures on horses back, Cyndi shares her journal in the pages of the Blog.
